AccuPen Introductory Price Ends April 30, 2011
Automated Ophthalmics announced today that the AccuPen introductory price of $2,795 will end on April 30.
Starting May 1, the new AccuPen price will be $2,995. Customers will need to purchase in the next two months to take advantage of the introductory offer. The pricing is set by Accutome which manufacturers the AccuPen.
"Accutome realized that the new AccuPen price continues to offer a substantial value vs. both the Tono-Pen XL and Avia", said Brian Congleton, National Sales Manager for Automated Ophthalmics. "We're please to continue to offer the introductory price for two more months."
The Tono-Pen XL has been used by ophthalmologists and veterinarians for twenty-five years. The new AccuPen® offers advanced technology using high resolution, real-time waveform analysis to provide accurate IOP measurements. In addition, the AccuPen's new gravity offset technology is self-calibrating providing a major advantage over other handheld tonometers.
Automated Ophthalmics is a major distributor of tonometers including both the AccuPen and the Tono-Pen XL. Automated Ophthalmics is also the leading manufacturer of Tono-Pen tip covers. For more information, visit www.auto-oph.com
